“Oh my god.”
Amy spread a newspaper across a table. People crowded around, crowing angrily. The angry headline seemed to pulse like a neon sign.
Big actor gone missing late last night
It narrowed down to one thing- Jaden Brocksby, a huge actor, had gone missing late last night. I, personally, only liked one movie he was in, a soppy teen romance with angry hormone-infested boyfriend and a girlfriend that burst into tears every minute. The others were hot-talented-spy-boy films.
He IS hot though. He has this cute crooked smile that the girls fainted at the sight of. He narrows his eyes and smiles and it makes people drool. What I wouldn’t give for one kiss. Not a quick one, a proper one that makes your pulse sky-rocket and makes your heart try to, as Bella from Twilight says, burst from your chest.

I was silent as I skimmed the passage, there were oohhhs and ahhhs of panic around me. I decided, tonight, i'd get my own copy of it. I went over to the cash register and bought a lime slush. I sucked on it absent-mindedly. People play-fought around me; panicked about math homework; chatted about fashion and the missing actor.

"Hey!" Jess called. She rushed up to my side.
"Hi, Jess." I frowned. Earlier in the day I'd been badly hurt. "Listen, what Lest did was so wrong. Ignore him.
"I can't." I nearly cried.
"Come on." She pulled a sympathetic face. "Its Geography next. We fought so hard for the seat next to me." I nodded, and tried to smile. After a few seconds I lightened up Geography was one of my favourite subjects.

The last bell rang and I snapped my book shut hard. Finally! Jess rubbed my shoulder.
"If it helps any, i'll walk home with you." Small, blacked haired Jess, constantly thinking of me.
"Thanks." I nodded.

The walk home was long but uneventful. I began up the street, and my heart leapt in my chest.

Jaden Brocksby! Apart from looking shabby, and his hair flopped over his eyes, it was him. Oh my god, I had to walk past him. My face was red. Breathing in, I built up my breath to a pant, and raced past him, slung both bags over my shoulder, slid the key into the lock and was inside. Resting against the kitched table, I blushed. Jaden Brocksby, outside!

I woke up at 5o'clock the next morning. I looked out the window. The floodlight picked out fat drops of rain falling heavily. And Jaden was still outside. My heart went out. I couldn't watch him sit there. His arms were wrapped around his torso, cold and hungry. I scrubbed a tear away. I had to let him in, warm him up. Rich as he was, he was human.

"Psst!" I hissed out the window as loud as I dared. He looked up at me, hung out the window. "Psst!"

I should have known hanging out of the window was a bad idea. Shouldn't I? Vanessa I should have thought This is a stupid thing to do. But then, I gave a yelp of suprise, and toppled out of the window. I swung my arms around, crying out, and I landed in Jadens arms. I blushed.

"Umm, thanks?" I whimpered. Jaden just laughed.

"Did you throw yourself out of the window?" He asked with a laugh. I shook my head as he put me on my feet.

"Well, If you can get me back in the window, I'll let you in." His eyes grew soft. He brushed a strand of hair from my face.

"Ok, then." He then pushed his lips onto mine. I was shocked, but enjoyed the kiss. To think earlier I'd been dreaming of this...

After being heaved through the window by Jaden I sat on my bed to think. He was filming a new film in Hollywood. Why was he here? I was so overwhelmed by this I was dizzy as I unlocked the door. I looked at Jaden. Then I fainted. The world grew black and my face was pressed against something fluffy and ice-cold.

When I woke up, the first thing I felt was hunger gnawing at my stomach. Then I felt fabric against my skin and a cold hand against my cheek.
"I think she's waking up." An oddly familiar voice echoed.I couldn't re-call a name. My eyes opened. Jaden peered anxiously into my eyes. "Are you OK?" he asked softly. I nodded, and my head swirled.

"Shes got a tempreture." He said as I sat up. A hot tea was thrust into my hands. I savoured the warmth.
"Bu-" Jaden shook his head. "I'll explain later."
